Forty-two unclaimed motorcycles up for auction

Forty-two unclaimed motorcycles are to be auctioned at police stations in the next few weeks.

According to the Official Gazette, the unclaimed bikes are being sold under Section 68 (1) of the Police Act, Chapter 16:01 of the Laws of Guyana.

The public auction notice signed by acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Security, Daneilla McCalmon,  said the auctions will begin tomorrow at the Timehri Police Station at 9 am. They will continue at the Ruimveldt Police Station on March 30 at 9 am, the Central Police Station on March 31st at 9 am and at various other police stations.
