One hundred and thirteen unclaimed motorcycles will be put up for sale by the Guyana Police Force via public auction later this month.

According to a notice published in last Thursday’s Stabroek News, the sale, which is being facilitated through the Ministry of Public Security, will take place on November 26, 27 and 29 at Ruimveldt Police Station, Turkeyen Police Station and CID Headquarters Eve Leary, respectively.

According to the notice, the full price of the sold item must be paid before the close of the business day on the day of the sale.

The notice also stated that items sold are to be removed within seven days and failure to do so will result in a storage fee of two per cent of the sale price after seven days. The ministry said that items not moved within one month of the sale will be disposed of.

It indicated that 21 motorcycles would be up for sale at Ruimveldt Police Station, 57 at Turkeyen Police Station and 35 at CID Headquarters.

The auctions are scheduled to begin at 10 am on each respective day.
