The Ministry of Education has expressed sympathy to the family of Yogendra Persaud. Persaud, a Grade 4 student of Graham’s Hall Primary died on Wednesday after collapsing in the school yard during the lunch hour.
According to the Ministry’s Public Relations Officer Suelle Williams, teachers at the school rushed Persaud to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
No cause of death had been determined as of press time.
