A Vryheid’s Lust, East Coast Demerara resident was robbed of his car at gunpoint by three men late Wednesday night.
According to a police press release, Marlon Sommerset, was at Sparendaam in his car when he was approached by three men. One of the men was armed with a handgun and held Sommerset at gun point, relieving him of his vehicle, other valuables and escaped.
However, after the police were alerted, a search ensued and the vehicle was recovered in the same village. The investigation is still ongoing as the three suspects are still at large.
