A Rose Hall businessman was robbed yesterday during business hours.
Lomenzo Johnny, of Lot 11 East Side Line, Rose Hall Town, was pounced on, by two armed bandits yesterday at around 12:00 hrs. Johnny told Stabroek News that he and one of his workers, along with three other friends were in the shop when two men, both armed with a gun entered his grocery and demanded cash. The fearful man explained that he complied and give them whatever cash he had in the store, approximately $300,000. Johnny further explained that one man had a kerchief tied around his face, while the other was not masked.
An investigation has been launched into the robbery. No one has yet been arrested.
