The Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) has announced that effective September 1, all post offices will be open for business from 07:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs, Monday to Friday.
The GPOC media release stated that effective September 3, some post offices will be open on Saturdays from 07:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs. These include GPO (Robb Street), Bourda, Ogle, Mahaica, New Amsterdam, Skeldon, Mackenzie, Vreed-en-Hoop, Parika, Anna Regina, Charity, Bartica, Mahdia, Lethem, Port Kaituma, and Acquero.
The GPOC also announced that effective September 1, some post offices will be closed for lunch from 11:30 hrs to 12:30 hrs Monday to Friday, including GPO (Robb Street) – Parcels Branch, Ogle, Buxton, Rose Hall Town, Leguan, Timehri, Wales, Parika and Lethem.
