In light of the COVID-19 emergency measures effective April 3, 2020 – May 3, 2020, released by the Minister of Public Health, the Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) will be closed from Thursday April 9, 2020. However, a release from the GPOC said that the following will apply:
i. Bulk mail will be accepted on April 16 & 17, 2020. Notices will be publicized and sent to the relevant agencies.
ii. Treasury pensions will be paid on April 22 & 23, 2020, at all Post Offices from 09:00 hrs. to 15:00 hrs.
