Vish Trading Incorporated will sponsor today’s Open Medal Play tournament at the Lusignan Golf Club.
The company, situated at Area D, Le Ressouvenir, East Coast Demerara, has decided to sponsor today’s tournament in memory of the late Prabudial Ramdial whose son, Vish Ramdial, is Managing Director of the company.
According to a press release, Vish Ramdial, expressed a desire to sponsor the tournament since his father was an ardent golf fan.
Representatives of Vish Trading will be on hand to hand over the prizes at the tournament’s conclusion.
The Open Medal Play tournament will tee-off at 12:30 p.m. and past president of the Lusignan Golf Club, Brian Hackett and winner of the last Vish-sponsored tournament, Joaan Deo are expected to participate.
Trophies for the first three finishers will be at stake along with the usual Best Gross and Nearest to The Pin awards.
