MACORP says man on gun, ammo charges not member of management team

Machinery Corporation of Guyana (MACORP) through its lawyers, Luckhoo & Luckhoo says that Karim Price of Port Kaituma who appeared in court on February 28, 2017 on  gun and ammunition charges is not a member of its management team. It further said that the charges against Price are a “private matter directly related to the employee’s personal life and choices and MACORP is in no way responsible for nor affiliated with same”.

The company was responding to a report on the matter in Wednesday’s edition of Stabroek News. Price had been described in court as a manager.
