Condolences to the relatives of Kenneth Joseph

Dear Editor,
The executives and members of the Clerical & Commercial Workers’ Union (CCWU) wish to extend their deepest sympathy to the sorrowing relatives and friends of Kenneth Joseph who died on February 23. We worked together with the National Association of Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial Employees (NAACIE) for many years; it was a great friendship and brotherhood.
His passing is a great loss to the trade union movement at both the regional and national levels where he served with distinction. He was a stalwart in the trade union movement and always  worked for reconciliation in the workplace and the broader society.
The name Kenneth Joseph is now a household name in Guyana and further afield because of his significant contribution to the trade union movement.
At the end of life, what really matters is not what we bought, but what we built.
May his soul rest peace!
Yours faithfully,
Sherwood Clarke
