West Front Road-Gold is Money and Tigerbay sealed their berths to the group round when the Petra Organization Futsal Championship playoff round concluded yesterday at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.

West Front Road handcuffed the Camp Street All-Stars 10-2. Carl Tudor recorded a hat-trick in the seventh, ninth and 28th minute, while Roy Cassou also netted thrice in the 18th, 26th and 27th minute.

Tallying a double in the rout was Randolph Wagner in the 10th and 25th minute, while Andre Webber and Jamal Pedro netted in the 20th and 29th minute, respectively.

For the loser, Ron Lyken scored in the 13th minute, while an own goal in the previous minute opened their tally.

On the other hand, Tigerbay mauled Hustlers 6-1. Deon Alfred scored twice in the eighth and 19th minute, while Keoma Gravesande and James Meredith netted in the 15th and 25th minute, respectively.

Own goals in the sixth and 13th minute added to the Hustlers’ misery. On target in the loss was Anthony Sancho in the ninth minute. Up to press time, four more matches were slated to be held.

To date, six other teams have already sealed their places in the group round. They are the inaugural losing finalist Sparta Boss, Broad Street Bullies, Tucville, West Back Road, Agricola and North East La Penitence.

Upon the completion of the round-robin stage, the top two finishers and the best two third-ranked teams from the respective groups, will progress to the quarterfinal phase.
