Teen labourer charged with stealing phone from 5-year-old

A 19-year-old labourer was yesterday placed on $50,000 bail after he denied stealing a phone from a child.

It is alleged that on November 14th, at West Ruimveldt Primary School, Joshua Griffith stole a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, valued $150,000, from a five-year-old

Griffith, of Laing Avenue, pleaded not guilty to the charge after it was read to him in a city court.

Magistrate Leron Daly subsequently granted him his release on bail.
