Rain washes out opening night’s action of Xtra Beer street football c/ships

Rain had the final say on the opening night of the Xtra Beer ‘Ballers in the Summer’ Street Football Championship, washing out the scheduled eight elimination matches on Friday at the Pouderoyen Market Tarmac.

The constant rainfall forced the tournament coordinators, Second Ground Entertainment, to reschedule the start of the event, as the playing area was unsuitable and dangerous for the competitors.
