The Guyana Karate Federation (GKF) held their 2017 Senior National Championships last Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.
According to a press release from the GKF, the results are, as follows:
Female 14-17 years: Kata – Tashana Wong-1st, Loren Black-2nd: Kumite-Tashana Wong-1st, Loren Black-2nd
Male 14-17: Kata- Trevon Miller, Shakeem Walcott: Kumite (55Kg) Shakeem Walcott, Asaad Abdool
Male 14-17: Kumite- (68kg) Timothy Chand, Orlando Giddings: (68Kg+) Shemar Parkinson, Mark Wong
Female Adult 18+: Kata- Nyota Rodrigues, Rebecca Wesley: Kumite: Nyota Rodrigues, Rebecca Wesley
