Enmore Association of NY entertains elderly, children

For the 17th year in a row, the Enmore Association of New York (EANY) has held  its annual Christmas party for elderly and children of the East Coast Demerara community.

According to a release from the group, the event was held on December 22, 2018 at the residence of Ayube Mohamed and catered for over 500 persons, who were treated to lunch and saw Santa Claus, bringing the holiday cheer and gifts.

They elderly persons also received a hamper and a monetary contribution, compliments of members and well-wishers of the EANY. The celebration was made possible through the collaborative effort of former residents of Enmore, residing in New York.
