Cougars in 8-0 drubbing of East Bank

Cougars FC, New Amsterdam (NA) United and Monedderlust FC clinched contrasting wins when the Berbice Zone of the Frank Watson Memorial U15 Football League continued on Sunday.

Cougars drubbed East Bank Gunners 8-0 at the Esplanade Park. Tyrese Tim recorded a hat-trick in the 40th, 42nd and 46th minute, while Gary Nurse, Collis McCalmont, Keron Hamilton, Simeon Jones and Jordan Layne scored in the eighth, 18th, 26th, 54th and 60th minute respectively.

In another fixture, New Amsterdam (NA) United edged Heart of Oak 1-0. Orin Glen netted in the 48th minute.

Over at the No. #5 ground, West Coast Berbice, Monedderlust squeaked past Hopetown United 1-0. Shamour Johnson netted in the 65th minute.

Meanwhile, Rosignol United was disqualified in their matchup against Arsenal FC, due to player registration issues while on Saturday, Corriverton Links gained a walkover from Young Strikers at the Scottsburg Ground.
