St. Rose’s High, Tutorial High and Presidents’ College recorded lopsided wins when the Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) Regional Conference continued on Thursday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
In the most lopsided result of the day, St. Rose’s blew out School of the Nations 33-1. Ashley Khan netted 12 points while Ayodele Roache added 10 points.
In two low scoring contests, Tutorial High dismissed Bladen Hall 11-2 with Dennique Ross scoring eight points while President’s College bested Marian Academy 14-8. Lydia Roberts scored seven points while Caron Bobb-Semple assisted with four points. For Marian Academy, Jada Mohan scored six points.
The competition which is in its 10th year, is sponsored by Edward B. Beharry Companies Limited (Ltd), Banks DIH Ltd and the National Sports Commission.
