Sequel, Samurai, Spartans record biggest margin of wins

GCC the Sequel, SHC Samurai and GCC Bingo Spartans recorded the biggest margin of wins in the latest round of the Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) Under-20 and second-division Developmental Leagues at the Saint Stanislaus College (SSC) ground, yesterday. 

Sequel took care of YMCA Old Fort Aces 5-2 in the second division league on the back of four goals from Philip Fernandes while Alan Fernandes netted the other. Shaquan Favourite and Omar Hopkinson netted for Aces.

The other second ‘D’ contest saw SHC Shockwaves and YMCA Old Fort Rusty ending in a one all draw. 

In the boy’s under-20 action,  Samurai delivered a 5-0 drubbing of YMCA Old Fort Generals on the back of a brace from Edmond Chinian while Oshazay Savory, Nicholas Nervais and Hilmar Chester converted the other strikes.  

The other matches in that league saw GCC Pitbulls and YMCA Old Fort Locking 1-1 at the end of regular time while GCC Bingo Spartans defeated Saints 4-0 in the girls under – 20 category on the back of a hat-trick from Alana Chung while GCC Her-Ricanes played to a scoreless draw.
