Following last weekend’s exceptional Macorp Golf Extravaganza, the Lusignan Golf Club is set to tee off today with its Pre-Fathers’ Day Classic.
With tee off set at 12.30 hours, the country’s best golfers will battle for top honours across three flights. They will also compete for prizes compliments of Survival Supermarket with the top two Best Net in each flight along with Nearest to the pin and Longest Drive receiving prizes.
Expected to take to the field is last week’s `A’ flight winner and LGC president Aleem Hussain along with Avinash Persaud.
Also down to compete are Patanjalie “Pur” Persaud, Richard Haniff, Joaan Deo, Philbert London, Dinnanauth Deoram, Guillermo Escarraga, Mike Mangal, Imtiaz Subhan, Lakeram Ramsundar and others.
The club has seen a vast number of tournaments getting underway with the ground maintaining its credibility despite challenges from the rainy season.
