Neville Ramotar Memorial T20 resumes this weekend

Following a complete postponement of cricket in Guyana due to the rainy season, the East Coast Cricket Committee will be the first body to resume their competitions when they bowl off the Neville Ramotar T20 competition  this weekend.

At the Enmore Community Center Cricket Club ground, Strathavon B will face off against Ogle CC on Saturday before the winner takes on Lusignan East at 9.30 hours at the Lusignan Community Center ground  Sunday.

Sunday will also see Enmore CC, led by Bheemraj Ramkelawan, battling Fairfield with the likes of Ramnarine and Richard Chatura at Enmore while Enterprise will play one team that lost the second and third match but had a superior net run rate than the other at 14.00 hours at Lusignan.

The winners of the second and third match will then clash  at Enmore  before the third place and final matches are played on Monday.

The tournament which began in March and featured 19 teams from East Coast Demerara, is sponsored by Kumar Ramotar in honour of his brother and he has  committed to sponsoring the competition for three years.
