Dear Editor,
I, Alister Charlie, PPP/C MP for Region 9, hereby totally reject the false allegations that have been made about me as reported in the Guyana Chronicle and other media sources. It seems as though this is a conspiracy that is targeted at my character and my political affiliation, as reflected in the treatment l received by the Police on August 1st and 2nd, 2019.
As a result of these allegations hatched to sully my name and reputation, I am in consultation with my lawyer with regard to bringing legal action against those who participated in the plot.
I maintain my innocence and I reject all those allegations as being false. Furthermore, l have been advised by my lawyer to say no more on this issue.
