Resaul ousted at quarters of Lawn Tennis C/ship in Antigua

Vadeanand Resaul was stopped at the quarter-final stage of the Antigua COTECC Wadadli Bowl 2019 under – 14 lawn tennis tournament after going down to Antiguan Jaiden Julien. 

The Guyanese lost the match 6/4, 6/3 to end a near two-and-a-half hour contest contest.

However, he was able to sustain his form in the doubles category after teaming up with Antonio Warner of Bermuda to account for Antiguans Joel Darzell and De Andre Weeks 6/0, 6/0 at the end of their quarterfinal match. 

Resaul and his doubles partner was set to compete for a spot in the finals last evening. 

Resaul during the last week, along with Nathen Martin of Trinidad and Tobago captured the runners-up spot in the COTECC Trinidad Summer Bowl Under – 14 championships in the Twin Island Republic. 

 He was also stopped in the quarterfinal stage of the singles category in the Trinidad championship.
