Robbery accused Omalo Williams was yesterday freed of two charges after a city magistrate found that the prosecution failed to make a case against him.

Williams was on trial before Magistrate Rhondel Weever on charges that on May 25th, at Smyth Street, in the company of others and armed with a gun, he robbed Odwin Lowenfield and Latoya Lowenfield. It was reported that he allegedly robbed Odwin of a phone, valued $66,000, and of $25,000 in cash. Williams later that day allegedly robbed Latoya of a cellphone, valued $170,000.

He had been accused of committing the attacks one day after being released on bail on similar charges.
