Playing in her debut tournament following the announcement of her college stint in Canada, Priyanna Ramdhani copped silver in the YONEX AJC Silver – Airdrie Junior Under 19 tournament which was played in Alberta, Canada at the weekend. 

 The Guyanese lost to Tia Clark of The Gao Badminton Tao Club in the final 12-21, 20-22 to begin her stint for the Broncos Badminton Team on a successful note. 

 Ramdhani, the reigning Caribbean junior girls champ, defeated Emilia Hayland of the Glencoe Club: 21-9, 21-6 in the semis.

 Earlier, during her group-B play off matches, she defeated Roya Mehri of the Gao Badminton Tao Club: 21-10, 21-5 and Chole Crump of Edison Badminton Centre: 21-8, 21-6.

 She will be in action once again Saturday when she competes in the Yonex Alberta Series #1 – Sunridge in Calgary Alberta. Her sibling, Narayan Ramdhani, is also set to compete in that tournament.
