Indian visas have to be applied for online from November 15

The High Commission of India has announced that it will be be switching over to Online Visa Application Filing for all applicants and all visa types with effect from November 15, 2019. 

The High Commission in a release yesterday emphasised that manually filled-in visa application forms will longer be accepted.

In addition, Biometric Data collection, including fingerprint data and facial imagery will be a mandatory requirement for all types of visa applicants from November 15, 2019.

As a result, all visa applicants will need to first apply online. Visa Application Registration Forms will be available on website: http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/.  Thereafter, applicants must be physically present  at the High Commission of India, Georgetown, Guyana, for submission of the visa application and biometric data enrolment.

The printed form should be submitted physically to the High Commission on the same day or a subsequent day along with: (i) Passport, (ii) 2 additional photographs, (iii) Visa Fees, (iv) Other documentation required for the type of visa applied for, and any other relevant supporting documents.
