Timehri Panthers squeaked past Grove Hi-Tech 2-1 when the East Bank Football Association’s Senior League resumed yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence. The Panthers’ Shannon Samnauth broke the deadlock as he found the back of the net in the fourth minute. The scoreline would remain unchanged heading into the halftime interval.
However, Denzil Crawford equalised on the resumption, etching his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 55th minute. Nonetheless, Travis Thornhill fashioned the winner for the Panthers with a 61st minute conversion.
Meanwhile, Soesdyke defeated Agricola via walkover in the second slated matchup.
