Ogle Airport seeking expressions of interest in duty-free shop

The Eugene F. Correia International Airport (EFCIA) is seeking expressions of interest in the development of a duty-free shop.

An advertisement in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek, said that Ogle Airport Incorporated (OAI), the management company of the airport was seeking Expressions of Interest (EoIs) from qualified firms either singly or in a joint venture.

The ad said that the respondent will be required to be approved by the Guyana Revenue Authority. A security bond and the training of staff will be required by the GRA.

The scope of services and deliverables include: the inclusion of both domestic and international brands of alcoholic beverages and fragrances and tobacco.  The concessionaire may be licensed to provide other duty-free products such as electronics, watches and jewellery.

Expressions of interest must be submitted before November 30th, 2019.
