The Jermin and Family sponsored and coordinated ‘Mash Cup’ resumes today at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) ground, Linden with an exciting doubleheader.
In the opening match, Topp XX will lock horns with Net-Rockers from 19:00hrs. Net-Rockers currently sport an unbeaten record in group-A section following a convincing 4-1 victory over Milerock. They will now aim to seal their place in the knockout round with a win over the home side Topp XX, who are making their debut in the tournament.
The second match will pit Silver Shattas against Botofago from 21:00hrs. The group-`B’ clash will be the first outing for Silver Shattas in the competition while Botofago battled to a 1-1 result in their previous contest with Amelia’s Ward Panthers.
Winner of the event will pocket $600,000 and the championship trophy. On the other hand, the second place side will pocket $300,000 and the respective accolade. Similarly, the third and fourth place teams will receive $200,000 and $100,000 respectively and a trophy.
