Dear Editor,
For “donkey years” the parents of students of Saxacalli Primary have been burdened with the task of weeding the school compound. The premises is quite large and parents who can afford usually pay someone to weed. Recently I learnt that all other schools, whether in the riverain, interior or coastlands receive a subvention from the Ministry of Education to pay for this task. Why is Saxacalli not receiving the funds for this task? We river johns are always neglected. But thank God we like every other citizen was blessed with the vote.
