Guyana Carnival, Duck & Drake Promotion and Events592 are set to put on their third virtual party tonight dubbed ‘Stag in Yuh Yard’, an initiative that first kicked off two Saturdays ago via social networking site Zoom.
This virtual party will be held weekly and hosted popular local and overseas-based DJs. ‘Stag in Yuh Yard’ is set to run for another 4 to 6 weeks.
“We were looking at what we can do to keep people engaged during this quarantine period. If you look across the spectrum everybody is gravitating towards online media, so we wanted to keep our audience engaged both local and abroad. We thought that having virtual parties will allow people to party in their own space and so far, it’s going really good,” Kerwin Bollers, owner of HJTV shared.
