Dear Editor,
Some two and one half months after elections it is time for the flags, billboards tacked onto posts, advertising boards, placards, posters, banners and other parties’ campaign paraphernalia to be taken down and disposed of.
These items once the pride and joy of the respective parties and supporters when installed in communities and city streets are now an eyesore as they are now tattered and shattered and lie in ruin.
Let us restore the aesthetics of our communities and city streets even as the election outcome remains elusive.
