Now that the fraud in Clairmont Mingo’s declaration for District 4 is being revealed before the eyes of the world, I could not help but note that at Saturday’s press conference outside of the Arthur Chung Conference Centre, APNU+AFC candidates Amna Ally and Roysdale Forde stated that there “was systemic fraud that has been taking place in these elections” and cast the blame on GECOM.
It is also interesting to note that Roysdale Forde sought pre-emptively to exonerate Clairmont Mingo from electoral fraud while placing the blame on the approximately ten thousand polling day staff in some impossibly coordinated scheme to aid the PPP/C to rig the election so that the APNU+AFC could be declared the winners. Nonetheless, I wanted to bring this to the public’s attention that now that the fraudulent electoral declaration for District 4 is being revealed with the recount, there will be more of “is nah me … is GECOM” emanating from the APNU+AFC. I hope GECOM takes note too.
