Amidst the circus at the recount – The Joe and Claudette Show – with daily shenanigans and dead cats galore, one set of people have not had a good recount war -The PPP and their communication professionals. Day after day, I see Vincent Alexander on the front pages setting the news agenda, where is the big voice of the PPP? Has putative President Irfaan Ali lost his voice? If not why not some of the other Young Turks like Frank Anthony and Anil Nandlall. Both articulate, both mainly muted.
This is a propaganda war and the Opposition needs to up its info game and at pace. Learn from Boris Johnson’s many mistakes and Nicola Sturgeon’s sure footedness on the Coronavirus Pandemic here in the UK. Steady firm messaging always works.
