(Trinidad Express) Three men suspected in the shooting death of a police officer yesterday morning, were themselves shot and killed by officers hours later.

Police reports state that shortly before 3pm, officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force (NEDTF) were on patrol along Second Caledonia, Morvant, in search of the ones responsible for the death of PC Allan Moseley.

Moseley, a member of the Guard and Emergency Branch, was shot in the head and chest. His body was found in the vicinity of Seales Avenue along Morvant Old Road.

When on patrol, the officers reportedly came under fire by the suspects, resulting in them returning fire, hitting all three.

The injured men, who have not yet been identified, were placed in the police vehicle and taken to the Port of Spain Hospital, where they were pronounced dead on arrival.
