The Roger Harper-led Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will once again use the virtual communication platform, Zoom, to keep city cricketers somewhat involved in the game.

The association, which recently successfully hosted a number of online coaching sessions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, has now enlisted the services of former West Indies player and Coach Gus Logie to interact with cricketers here.

The online session will commence later this evening from 19:00hrs.

Logie, who guided West Indies to their triumph in the 2004 Champions Trophy, will share his experiences from both a personal and coaching perspective on how to transition from club to first-class cricket.

Players who are keen to join the online session are advised to contact Shawn Massiah, Chairman of GCA’S Competitions Committee on 616 7240. Players can also log into Zoom using the following details; meeting ID 889 5528 7045 and password 704468.
