With the COVID-19 pandemic threatening the health and safety of many, Troy Resources recently donated a quantity of cleaning and hygiene supplies to the Kaburi Village Council in Region Seven.
With its operating mines in close proximity to the village, the company, which has been partnering with the village to execute social and environmental development projects, hopes that its donation will assist the village in their fight against COVID-19.
The company has long partnered with the village and supports the community with medical services as needed, school supplies, and community projects. The village flagship project houses a nursery for plants that are used in restoration, replanting, and reforestation of mining areas, which is also supported by the company.
