Dear Editor,
I welcome the Guyana Bar Association’s letter regarding the racist and disrespectful attack on Justice Priya Sewnarine-Beharry (Chase, SN 2020.07.25; Newsroom). What I find surprising (perhaps oversight) is that Justice Sewnarine-Beharry’s name was entirely absent in the letter. This does a disservice to the record, and to the jurist who was subjected to the vilest of abuses.
