Supervised retraction of DHB planned for tomorrow for marine traffic

Tomorrow morning (Sunday, September 6, 2020) at 8:30am engineers will facilitate and supervise a retraction of the Demerara Harbour Bridge to allow for marine traffic, a release today from the Ministry of Public Works said.

After this opening, marine traffic will be unable to pass for a few days since aggressive work will be undertaken to repair serious problems on the bridge, the release added.
