History will be created today when the St Lucia Zouks take on the Trinbago Knight Riders in the grand finale of the 2020 Hero Caribbean Premier League competition.

For the Zouks, it will be a historic first ever title if they are to get past the juggernauth that is the TKR.

For the TKR, the win will be of even more significance as they will be the first team to ever play unbeaten in the entire competition.

Last year, the Guyana Amazon Warriors came close but lost in the final after winning all their other matches.

TKR booked their spot in today’s final after dispatching the Jamaica Tallawahs einning by nine wickets.

In reply to the Tallawahs 107-7, TKR romped to 111/1 while in the other semi-finals the St Lucia Zouks routed last year’s losing finalists the Amazon Warriors for 55 them  strolled to 56-0.

Today’s final will be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy ground, Tarouba from 10am.
