Co-ops dep’t staff in quarantine after positive COVID test

The Minister of Labour yesterday said  that the Ministry of Health has confirmed that one staff member from the Co-operatives Department of the Ministry of Labour has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

A release from the ministry said that the names and contact information for the staff of the department were submitted to the Surveillance Unit of the Ministry of Health and all members of staff of the Co-ops Department will be in quarantine for seven days beginning from yesterday.

The Minister further wishes to advise that all COVID-19 protocols are currently being enforced and will be closely monitored to ensure full compliance in keeping with the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the International Labour Organization.
