A teacher was yesterday sentenced to 3 years’ imprisonment and fined $2 million after being found guilty of indulging in sexual activity with a student.
Mohammed Wazir Khan, an economics teacher, was yesterday sentenced by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly after being found guilty of the offence of engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
It is alleged that Khan, on March 9, 2019, was involved in sexual activity with a child under the age of 16 thereby abusing a position of trust.
