Dear Editor,
I read with interest that David Granger has declined to meet President Irfaan Ali and the former Presidents setting preconditions (Granger declines invitation to meeting of former Presidents – until public concerns placed on agenda, SN online, 11th December 2020).
While this is not acting in good faith in declaring what the agenda should be, a little concession by President Irfaan Ali can go a far way.
David Granger has his wish list which he has made known. I am sure that President Irfaan Ali and the other former Presidents also have their wish list.
It really is time to start practising consensus politics.
Yours faithfully,
Sean Ori
