Move over Santa Claus. You are not the only one who made a list this time of year.

Five-time Mr. Guyana and two-time CAC Gold medalist, Kerwin Clarke has begun crafting a list of things he wants to work on in order to further improve his award winning physique.

The 33-year old, who has muscled his name into the conversation among the Caribbean’s elite bodybuilders, currently has his hard hat on, grinding out the reps in the gym to unwrap his best package yet in 2021.

“It takes hard work and dedication to achieve your goals and this off-season, I will be really focused on further improving my physique. As always, I will be working on my strengths but more on the lagging areas like my calves” Clarke told this publication recently.

The aesthetic muscleman, who used his sharp physique to slice through the light middleweight competition and carved out a second career defining CAC gold in the Dominican Republic last year, enters next season with a goal of taking his talents to Barbados to “take the CAC show by storm.”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic which led to the closure of gyms and airports, Clarke was unable to compete this year. He plans to make amends in 2021.

“Obviously I would have wanted to defend my title at CAC this year, but I can only control what I can control, my main focus is Barbados next year, that is on my radar.”

New photos which surfaced of Clarke guest posing at the ‘Resilience’ Bodybuilding event last Saturday night, showed him looking arguably better than he has ever been this time of the year which does not bode well for the rest of the competition.

Clarke, who suffered a minor back and leg injury during training earlier this year, is fully healed and war ready for the new year.

Now that he is able to focus more of his energy on training, Clarke looks like he is on pace to put career-best performances up on the table.

The mass of striated muscle also disclosed that he is training like a man possessed to add on six to eight pounds of quality muscle in order to fly the Golden Arrowhead high when he competes in the middleweight class next year.

“With the adequate sponsorship, I am looking forward to going out there to master the middleweight category and then give myself a chance to battle for the overall.”

Clarke always seems to find a way to make his presence felt on every bodybuilding stage and whenever he does come out to pose, you can bet with absolute certainty that he is gunning for the win.
