Five-time Mr. Guyana, Kerwin Clarke added a gold medal to his resume’ after using his sharp physique to slice through his weight class yesterday at this year’s CAC Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships staged in the Dominican Republic.

The 175-pound mass of striated muscle obliterated the competition in the under 176-pound class of nine musclemen.

In the overall, he returned on a quest to capture a coveted pro card, but that was won by overall champion, Yordan Feliciano of the Dominican Republic.

Clarke also earned a gold medal in 2016 in the same host nation.

Meanwhile, 2017 national Men’s Physique Champion, Yannick Grimes snatched a bronze medal in the under 170cm class in the Men’s Physique category in his CAC debut.

Bronze and silver medalist at the last two championships, Emmerson Campbell however surprisingly failed to crack the top six in his Men’s Physique Class, the under 174cm and will have to return to the drawing board.

Guyana’s other representative at the meet, Darius Ramsammy placed fifth in the 154 pound and under class.

The next CAC Championships, the 47th edition, will be staged next September in Colombia.
