Yet another company is making a foray into the Guyana market in the wake of the nation’s significant oil discoveries. This time it is Regus, a provider of serviced offices that has chosen to invest here with the opening of its first centre in Guyana.

A release from Regus yesterday informed that the new centre is located in the New Trafalgar Building at 165 Waterloo Street, North Cummingsburg in Georgetown.

The company says it has built a global network of 3,100 business centres in 1,000 cities across 110 countries offering office space, co-working, meeting spaces and memberships, helping over 2.5 million people have a great day at work.

According to the release, the Regus business centre boasts a combination of office space, meeting rooms, co-working facilities, and a business lounge, ready to support Georgetown’s flourishing business environment. Companies can now take advantage of fully functional and ready to move into office spaces.

All serviced offices are supplied with furniture, high-speed internet and a staffed reception, with additional services such as meeting rooms and business packages available. Each private office can be rented for long term or short-term durations and can be upgraded to add more desks and services as required.

This means that businesses can operate without the need for set-up costs or capital investment. The centre is designed to enhance productivity and connect businesses to like-minded professionals within the Regus global network.

Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, in welcoming Regus said, “We are delighted to welcome the Regus brand into the Guyana market.
