Dear Editor,
Despite Senior Minister in the Office of the President with responsibility for finance, Dr. Ashni Singh, announcement last night of a reduction in the excise tax on gasoline and diesel to relieve the impact of the recent sharp increase in the world market price for fuel, hire car drivers on the east coast highway are still charging the old price of 200 dollars for short drops.
I am asking the Commissioner of Police to please look into this matter…………we are all poor people.
