YWCC names strong team for Speaker’s T20 Club Championship

Young Warriors Cricket Club has named a strong team to participate in the inaugural Guyana Cricket Board/Everest Cricket Club-organised Speaker’s T20 Club Championship.

The Cumberland, East Canje Berbice-based club in a release, stated that it has received sponsorship from Aubrey David of SD&L Certified Accountancy of St. Ann’s Street, New Amsterdam and Syeed Mobarakali of Homeline Furnishing, Rose Hall Town, Corentyne.

Both Berbice companies expressed delight at being associated with the club that has such a rich history in such a short time. The club over the years produced many players who have represented at the international, national and county levels including Shimron Hetmyer.

The executive met recently and named a strong team which includes Hetmyer.
