The Ministry of Health today said that another person who tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has died. This takes the total number of deaths from the pandemic to 299.
The latest fatality is a 75-year-old female from Region Three (Essequibo Islands- West Demerara) who died while receiving care at the ministry’s medical facility.
Meanwhile, 114 new cases of the virus have been recorded and 14 persons are in the ICU.
