A Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) employee is nursing injuries at the Georgetown Public Hospital after he was involved in an accident at Pakera Public Road, North West District, Region One.

The Guyana Police Force in a statement yesterday said that 35-year-old Clinton Ash, a resident of Heaven Hill, Matthew’s Ridge, North West District, Region One and who is employed at GWI at Matthews Ridge, suffered injuries after he lost control of his ATV (all-terrain vehicle) and toppled over.

The statement said that at 16:45 hrs, the man was on his ATV CK7015 and proceeding west along the side of the Pakera Public Road, North West District, Region One, when he lost control of the vehicle which resulted in the bike toppling several times. He fell onto the road’s surface and received injuries about his head and body.
