E’quibo youth injured in biscuits row succumbs

A 24-year-old Essequibo resident succumbed at a city hospital on Thursday, more than a week after he was fatally struck to his head during an argument at a snackette at Henrietta Village.

Dead is Kurt Stephney called, ‘Junior,’ of Henrietta Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, who was struck around 8.15 am on Wednesday, May 5th, at Henrietta Village, Essequibo Coast.

Stephney was taken to the Suddie Hospital, where he was admitted in a serious condition. He was later transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), where he succumbed last Thursday morning.
